PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Josh Jones, Husson
(Sr, G - Jefferson, ME)
The NAC Player of the Year, Josh Jones showed up in the
tournament, recording double-doubles in both the semifinal and the
Conference Championship games this weekend to earn Tournament MVP
Honors. Jones scored 19 points and grabbed 15 boards in a tightly
contested semifinal vs. Castleton State, and followed that
performance with a 25 point 11 rebound night in the Championship
vs. Lyndon State.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Josh Jones, Husson University
(SR., Forward - Jefferson, ME)
Josh Jones recorded two double-doubles this week, tallying his
first against the University of Maine at Farmington. Jones scored
21 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead the Eagles to a NAC
win over Farmington. Against Thomas, Jones amassed an impressive 32
points and 14 rebounds, shooting 13-16 from the floor and 4-5 from
three point range.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Franklin Salvador, Thomas College
(Fr., G - Somerville, Mass.)
Salvador helped the Terriers to 2-0 week with 16 points, shooting
4-of-8 from three point land, and snatching three steal against MMA
on Tuesday. Against Husson on Saturday; Salvador put up 18 points,
sending 4-of-5 through the hoop from behind the arc, and going
perfect at the free throw line.

Co-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Phil Warrick, Lyndon
(Freshman, Guard - Springfield, Mass.)
Warrick averaged 32.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and two
steals per game while shooting 53% from the floor and 82% from the
free throw line as Lyndon went 1-2 in conference play. All three
games were decided by three points or less. On Tuesday, the
freshman had 23 points and five rebounds in the Hornets' 75-73 loss
at Johnson State on Tuesday, Feb. 8. Three days later, Warrick
poured in 30 points and four rebounds, to go along with four
assists, three steals and one block as Lyndon earned a hard-fought
83-80 overtime victory over UMaine-Farmington. The freshman guard
closed out the week with 44 points, four rebounds, seven assists
and three steals in the Hornet's wild 138-136 loss to Thomas on
Saturday.
Jarrad DeVaughn, Thomas College
(So., G - Brockton, Mass.)
DeVaughn helped lead the Terriers to a thrilling overtime victory
over Lyndon with his 38 points, 11 rebounds, shooting 63 percent
from the field, and 92 percent from the free throw line. Against
Johnson on Friday DeVaughn put up 18 points, shot 43 percent from
the field and grabbed eight rebounds. In two games, the sophomore
shot 54% from the field, 84% from the free throw line and averaged
28 points and 9.5 rebounds per contest
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Luis Medina, Husson University
(FY, Guard - Hartford, CT)
Luis Medina had a strong showing running the point for the Eagle
offense this week as Husson went 3-0 on the road in conference
play. Medina averaged 7.3 assists per game to go along with 6.7
points and 4.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 48% from the
field. The first year guard had 11 dimes in a win at Maine
Maritime, tying his career high, then contributed 11 points with
six assists in a win at Green Mountain before dishing five assists
in a tight victory at Castleton.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Eric Taylor, Me.-Farmington
(SR, F - Oakland, Maine)
Taylor led the Beavers with 15.7 points and 9.3 rebounds in a 3-0
week for Farmington in NAC competition. The senior posted 29 points
and 12 boards against Green Mountain.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Antonio Mena, Lyndon
(Freshman, Forward - Central Falls, R.I.)
Mena averaged 8.0 points and 11.6 rebounds with five assists and
three steals as Lyndon ran its NAC record to 7-2 and 8-12 overall.
On Tuesday, Feb. 1, he had five points, five rebounds, two assists
and one steal in the Hornets' 95-62 win over Green Mountain. Three
days later, Mena recorded a double-double with 15 points and 17
rebounds, to go along with two assists and two steals, as Lyndon
earned a hard-fought 73-63 victory over Maine Maritime Academy. He
closed out the week on Saturday with four points, 13 rebounds and
one assist in the Hornet's shocking 86-84 win over Husson, who came
into the contest unbeaten in NAC play.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Josh Jones, Husson

Josh Jones paced the Eagles last week, averaging 22.5 points and
15.0 rebounds in two NAC wins. Jones recorded an impressive
double-double with 23 points and 21 rebounds against Maine
Maritime. He went on to tallied 22 points and 9 rebounds in
Husson’s win over the University of Maine at Farmington.
Andrew Duncanson, Thomas College
(Sr., G - Portland, ME)
Duncanson kicked off his week scoring a career high 36 points
against Farmington on Wednesday. Duncanson shot 59 percent from the
field and was perfect from behind the arc (3-for-3) and the free
throw line (7-for-7). Duncanson tallied 23 points and grabbed nine
rebounds against Maine Maritime on Saturday. Duncanson averaged
29.5 points, 8 rebounds, and drained 87 percent of his free throws
in a 1-1 week. Duncanson eclipsed 1,500 career points and is now
tied with Mike Adams (1990-94) for sixth all-time with 1,521
points.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ben Johnson, Me.-Farmington
(FR, C - Manchester, Maine)
Johnson scored 17 points and pulled down 12 rebounds per contest
with four blocks and two steals in the Beavers' 0-2 week. The
freshman -- who shot 65.2 percent (15-23) -- posted career highs of
24 points and 17 rebounds in a NAC loss to Thomas.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Phil Warrick, Lyndon
(Freshman, Guard - Springfield, Mass.)
Warrick scored 64 points, grabbed seven rebounds, handed out six
assists, blocked three shots and collected seven steals as Lyndon
defeated Thomas and Farmington to move to 3-1 in NAC play. Warrick
had 38 points, five rebounds, three assists, one block and four
steals in the Hornets' 107-96 victory over the Terriers on Friday
before tossing in 26 points to go along with two rebounds, three
assists, two blocks and three steals in a 78-73 win over the
Beavers Saturday afternoon.

Stanley Greene Jr., Thomas College
(Fr., G - Dorchester, Mass.)
Greene Jr. went 11-for-21 from the field, 4-for-9 from behind the
arc, and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Terriers two games this week.
Greene Jr. averaged 19.5 points and shot 72 percent from the free
throw line.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jarrad DeVaughn, Thomas College
(So., G - Brockton, Mass.)
DeVaughn put up game-high point totals in three Terriers games
last week. DeVaughn started the week off with 24 points against UMF
on Tuesday; he followed that performance up with 22 points against
Green Mountain on Friday, and finished the week with 25 points in
the Terriers loss to Castleton. DeVaughn also lead the Terriers on
the defensive end with 18 rebounds, seven steal, and two blocks
this week. For the week the sophomore guard averaged 23.7
points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting over 50% (25-49) from the
field.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
None. Daeshawn McMorrin of Husson was inadvertently nominated but was not eligible to win the award.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Josh Jones, Husson

In two games, Josh Jones (Sr., Forward, Jefferson, ME) paced the
Eagles with 49 points. Against the University of Southern Maine,
Jones collected 23 points and 8 rebounds in a close 83-82 loss. The
next day, he led the Eagles with 26 points and 7 rebounds against
Colby College. Jones shot nearly 50% from the field (15-31) and
made 17 of 21 free throws.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Pet Sumner, Me.-Farmington
(FR, G - Cramerton, N.C.)
Sumner averaged 17.0 points per game in a 1-1 week for Farmington.
The freshman shot 52.6 percent (10-19) from the field and connected
on 81.8 percent (9-11) of his free-throw attempts.

Co-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Jared Paul, Castleton
(Jr., G - Tampa, Fla.)
In a 1-1 week for Castleton, Paul was the picture of consistency,
averaging 21 points on 12-for-22 shooting from the field. In a
mid-week, last-second loss to Skidmore, Paul put up a game-high 21
points, going 6-for-11 from the field. In Saturday's win over
Framingham, Paul put up an identical line as the Spartans ended the
first semester on a high note. Paul was also 15-for-20 from the
free throw line on the week, going 7-for-10 on Tuesday and 8-for-11
on Saturday.
Eric Taylor, Me.-Farmington
(SR, F - Oakland, Maine)
Taylor averaged 17.5 points and 8.8 rebounds with four steals and
five blocks in a 2-2 week for the Beavers. The senior, who was 64.6
percent (31-48) from the field, surpassed 1,000 points for his
career in Saturday's 66-51 win over University of New England.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Phil Warrick, Lyndon
(Freshman, Guard - Springfield, Mass.)
Warrick averaged 19.6 points in an 0-3 week for the Hornets. The
freshman collected 59 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four
steals on the week. After scoring six points with five assists and
one steal against St. Joseph's (Vt.) on Tuesday, he lit up Plymouth
State for 21 points, four rebounds and three steals two days later.
Warrick closed out his first semester in a Hornet uniform with a
32-point, three-rebound and one-assist effort versus New England
College Saturday.

Marc Zaharchuk, Husson
(So, C - Richmond, Maine)
In a 3-0 week for the Eagles, Zaharchuk averaged 20.6 points, 10.3
rebounds while shooting 70% from the field (21-30). The sophomore
center scored 20 points with seven boards in an 81-78 victory over
St. Joe's ME. Then dropped 19 and 15 in a win over Machias before
he added 23 points and nine rebounds in a 14 point win over
UNE.
Co-ROOKIES OF THE WEEK
Bryan Hickey, Johnson State
College
(Fr., F - Barre, Vt.)
Bryan Hickey keyed the Badgers first win of the season with
14-point, seven-rebound effort against St. Joseph (Vt.) on
Wednesday and helped Johnson to a 2-1 week. Hickey averaged 7.3
points, 3.7 rebounds, while shooting 52.6% (10-of-19) from the
floor.
Phil Warrick, Lyndon
(Freshman, Guard - Springfield, Mass.)
Warrick continues to shine for the Hornets in the early season,
collecting 30 points, five rebounds, three assists, five steals and
one blocked shot in two contests on the week. The freshman guard
had 18 points, two rebounds, one assists and two steals in the
Hornets' 91-84 loss to Vermont Tech on Tuesday, Nov. 30, before
amassing 12 points, three rebounds, two assists, three steals and
one blocked shot in Lyndon's 78-76 win over Western New England on
Saturday.

Taylor scored a game-high 27 points and pulled down eight rebounds
in the Beavers' 69-67 loss at St. Joseph's (Me.) on Tuesday. The
senior hit 66.6 percent (12-18) from the field.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Phil Warrick, Lyndon
(Freshman, Guard - Springfield, Mass.)
Warrick made his first collegiate game in his hometown a memorable
one by scoring a team-high 18 points in Lyndon's 81-62 loss to
Springfield College at the 2010 Hall of Fame Tip-off Classic on
Monday, Nov. 22. Warrick also collected four assists, four rebounds
and four steals in the contest while connecting on eight-of-12
field goal attempts.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Eric Taylor, Me.-Farmington
(SR, F - Oakland, Maine)
Taylor averaged 22 points and seven rebounds per game in a 1-1
trip to the Amherst College Ken Wright Memorial invitational. The
senior connected on 60.9 percent of his field goals (14-23) and
88.9 percent from the foul line (16-18) as the Beavers pushed the
host Lord Jeffs to overtime in a 90-89 loss and topped Wells
67-60.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Phil Warrick, Lyndon
(Freshman, Guard - Springfield, Mass.)
Warrick averaged 17.3 points in his first three collegiate
contests. The freshman guard scored 24 points and collected four
rebounds in 16 minutes in Lyndon's 100-81 loss to Plattsburgh State
on Monday, Nov. 15. Over the weekend, he had a team high nine
points, and two assists, in the Hornets 95-62 loss to Rensselaer in
the opening round of the RPI Tournament. He closed out the event on
Saturday with 19 points, four steals and two rebounds in a 83-69
setback at the hands of Plymouth State.
