Leandro Martinez led Johnson to a 3-0 week by averaging 23.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2 assists per game while shooting 57% (24-42) from the floor, 52% (13-25) from 3-point land, and 91% (10-11) from the FT line. Martinez canned a pair of game-winning free throws with :06 remaining in a 86-85 decision at Lyndon on Tuesday. On Friday Martinez netted a game-high 23 points including 5-6 effort from the 3-point line in a 65-55 win over Maine Maritime. Alicea averaged 17.3 points and 8.6 rebounds while shooting 67% from the floor (24-of-36) in a 1-2 week for the Terriers. The freshman scored 25 in a non-conference loss to Colby 71-69 and added 11 on 4-of-5 shooting in a 70-69 win at Green Mountain. (season stats)
