Husson Men's Golf Sits In 30th Following Rain Shortened First Round at NCAA Tournament
The Husson University men's golf team opened play at the 2018 NCAA Division III National Tournament Tuesday. The Eagles saw their first round cut short due to inclement weather at the Grandover Resort.
Husson started the day off on the first hole of the par-72 East Course and currently sit in 30th at 18-over par through 14 holes, while Guilford College and Emory University lead the 72-hole event at five-under par after completing the opening round earlier in the day.

Husson's Gavin Dugas and Eric Dugas currently sit in a 64th-place tie at three-over par through 14 and 17 holes, while Daulton Wickenden and Mackenzie Clow are tied for 126th at six-over par and Taylor Morang is tied for 165th at eight-over par through 15 holes.
The Eagles will conclude their first round on the East Course at 8:00 a.m. today before shifting over to the par-72 West Course for a shotgun start of Round 2 at 11:00 a.m.
