Messiah (18-2-0), which is ranked No. 3 in the USC national poll, enters the tournament with an 18-2-0 overall mark, including an 8-0 mark in the MAC Commonwealth during the regular season. The Falcons earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament after they were upset by Lycoming, 2-1, in the conference championship. The 10-time national champions are making their 28th overall NCAA appearance.
Buffalo State (14-2-3) will host the first two rounds of the tournament and faces Hobart (10-4-4) in the opening round Saturday. The two winners will face off in the second round Sunday. All game times are to be determined.
