Husson's Worcester Named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week

Husson junior guard Kenzie Worcester (Washburn, Maine) has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for week 5, which was released Tuesday afternoon. She becomes the first female player in school history to garner the national honor.

Worcester had a phenomenal week. In Husson's victory over Southern Maine, the junior scored 22 points, grabbed five rebounds, and dished out five assists. In the victory at Maine Maritime, Worcester tallied 36 points and corralled six rebounds. During the game against the Mariners, the guard surpassed the 1,000 point mark (the fastest in Husson University program) and set the Husson Eagles' program record for free-throws made in a single game (20).
