Richardson and Worcester Named to All-Region Teams has announced the 2018-19 All-Region Men's and Women's Basketball Teams. This is the 18th year has honored players with All-Region recognition.

North Atlantic Conference (NAC) student athletes Adam Richardson (Maine Maritime) and Kenzie Worcester (Husson) were each named to the Third Team All-Region for their performances this season. Previously, Richardson was honored as both the Senior Scholar Athlete and the Player of the Year for the NAC. Worcester also racked up several honors this season, including as the NAC Player of the Year.

Over 700 players were nominated by campus and conference Sports Information Directors, who then voted for a predetermined number of players in their region. 

The regional Rookie of the Year award honors the top freshman in each region, while also names a regional Coach of the Year.

Regions that have fewer than 40 Division III teams have two teams. The Northeast, which is nearly twice that size, has four teams, while all other regions have three team.

Players chosen to the All-Region team are eligible for All-American selection. The men's All-American team will be announced at the end of this week, in conjunction with the Division III men's championships, and the women's All-America team will be announced at the Division III women's championships.
