MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

Runner of the Week

Abshir Yerow, SUNY Delhi
Senior - Syracuse, New York


Yerow cruised through the field of nearly 100 runners to win the Vassar Invitational on Saturday. He finished the 6K race with a time of 19:18.7, averaged a 5:10 mile, and led the Broncos to a third-place finish.

 

 

 


 

Rookie of the Week

Seth Bywater, SUNY Delhi
First-year - Cornwall, New York


Bywater outran nearly 100 runners from six schools at the Vassar Invitational 6K on Saturday. He completed the 1-2 Broncos finish behind Yerow with a time of 19:35.6.

 

 

 

 

 

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

Runner of the Week

Zosia Prince, NVU-Lyndon
Sophomore - Sutton, Vermont


Prince finished nearly a minute before her nearest competitor to take first-place at Saturday's NVU-Lyndon Invitational, a race which included 55 women from eight NAC schools. She completed the 3K course in 13:13.7.

 

 

 


 Rookie of the Week

Payton Goodwin, Husson
First-year - Benton, Maine


Goodwin finished fourth overall, and ahead of all other rookies, with a 3K time of 14:13.0 at the NVU-Lyndon Invitational. She led Husson to a first-place team finish with five runners in the top-10.
