MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

Runner of the Week

 Joel Bond, Husson
Sophomore - Houlton, Maine


Bond led the Eagles with a personal best time at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational. His five-mile time of 27:10.8 ranked 62nd out of 257 competitors representing regionally ranked Division III programs as well as teams from Divisions I and II. The sophomore averaged a 5:26.2 mile and was the top NAC runner in the race.

 

 

 


Rookie of the Week

Benjamin Butterfield, Maine Maritime
First-year - Phillips, Maine


Butterfield was the first NAC rookie to cross the finish line at Saturday's UMass Dartmouth Invitational. The first-year finished 129th out of 257 runners, with a time of 28:50.99 on the five-mile course. The competitive race featured regionally ranked Division III programs as well as teams from Divisions I and II.

 

 

 

 

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

Runner & Rookie of the Week

Payton Goodwin, Husson
First-year - Benton, Maine

Goodwin continued her impressive rookie campaign at Saturday's UMass Dartmouth Invitational. She finished 90th in a competitive 263-runner field that included regionally ranked Division III programs as well as teams from Divisions I and II. Goodwin led the Eagles with a time of 20:45.8 (6:40.9 per mile) in the 5K race.
