MEN'S BASKETBALL

Player of the Week

Lovegeurson Fleurine, Thomas
Junior, F - Fort Pierce, Florida

Fleurine averaged 18.33 points and 9.33 rebounds over a 2-1 week for Thomas that included two conference wins on the road. He utilized 64.9% shooting (24-37) and 28 total rebounds to record two double-doubles, including his top performance on Friday of 22 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocks to propel the Terriers to a 75-69 win against NVU-Johnson.

 

 

 

Rookie of the Week

Scott Lewis, Husson
First-year, F - South Portland, Maine

Draining a pair of clutch threes against the Owls on Saturday, Lewis helped Husson sweep UMaine-Presque Isle over the weekend and improve to 4-0 in the conference. The rookie averaged 13.5 points and nine boards per game to fall just shy of a double-double. He finished the week with 27 points on 55.0% shooting (11-20), 18 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block.

 

 

 

 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Player of the Week

Kaylee Ravagli, Thomas
Sophomore, G - Lowell, Massachusetts

Ravagli led the Terriers to a pair of NAC wins last week to remain undefeated in conference play. The team's leading scorer on the weekend, she averaged 22 points per game and netted a career-high 26 points in a 77-55 win over NVU-Johnson on Friday night. Ravagli shot 56.0% (14-25) from the field and 50.0% (9-18) from three-point range, and chipped in 3.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.

 

 

  

Rookie of the Week

Bailey Donovan, Husson
First-year, C - Island Falls, Maine

Donovan was the Eagle's leading scorer for all three games this week, including 13 points against nationally ranked #2/#2 Bowdoin. She scored back-to-back 20-point games against NAC foe UMaine-Presque Isle and collected 17 rebounds across both games. Overall on the week, the rookie averaged 17.7 points, 8.7 boards, and 0.7 blocks per game. She shot a steady 72.0% (18-25) from the field and was a frequent flyer to the free throw line, netting 77.3% (17-22) of her foul shots.
