SUNY Cobleskill Wins Men's Cross Country Championship; Eamonn Sullivan Wins Race

Waterville, Maine - The Fighting Tigers of SUNY Cobleskill dominated the 2021 NAC Men's Cross Country Championship, placing all five scoring runners in the top-13 including individual champion Eamonn Sullivan. The first-year finished the muddy 8K championship in 27:32.0, classmate Nick Logan earned the bronze medal (27.47.8), and the team combined for 31 points. With the win, Sullivan was named both the Runner of the Year and the Rookie of the Year. Second-place finisher Seth Bywater (27:42.7) helped SUNY Delhi finish second as a team with 54 points and three runners earning All-Conference honors.

Husson University (88) finished third and Maine Maritime finished fourth (109), just one point ahead of UMaine-Farmington (110). SUNY Poly (128) came in sixth, Thomas College (166) seventh, and Northern Vermont-Lyndon finished eighth with 221 points. SUNY Canton and UMaine-Presque Isle finished ninth and tenth, respectively.

The top fifteen runners receive All-Conference honors, with the top eight on the First Team and the next seven runners on the Second Team. Complete All-Conference honors will be announced on Tuesday, November 2nd.
