Cazenovia College to Represent the NAC in the 2021 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament
Indianapolis, Indiana - Cazenovia College was selected to represent the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) in the 2021 NCAA Women's Lacrosse championship tournament.
The NAC Championship game was scheduled to be played last Saturday, May 1, but was unfortunately canceled due to COVID protocols. Despite not crowning a conference champion, Cazenovia earned the NAC automatic qualification bid to the tournament.
The Wildcats (3-3) will travel to host Franklin & Marshall for a 2:30 pm game against St. John Fisher (14-1) this Saturday, May 8. Catholic (9-0) and Becker (8-4) will contest the first game of the day at 11:30 am. The winners from these two games will compete in a second round tilt on Sunday, May 9 at 1:00 pm.
William Smith (8-4) and Meredith (11-3) will play the third and final first-round contest at Franklin & Marshall at 4pm on May 8. The winner will face the hosts on Sunday at 4pm.
The second-round winners will advance to one of four regional sites Saturday and Sunday, May 15-16. Winners of the four regionals will advance to the semifinals and final, which take place Saturday and Sunday, May 22-23 at Kerr Stadium in Salem, Virginia. The Old Dominion Athletic Conference and the City of Salem will serve as hosts for the championship.
