Top-seeded SUNY Canton to host 2023 NAC Women’s Lacrosse Tournament

WATERVILLE, Maine -- SUNY Canton closed out the regular season undefeated in North Atlantic Conference play and will be the top seed and host for next weekend’s 2023 NAC Women’s Lacrosse Tournament.

The Roos (5-0 NAC, 8-7 overall) will host the four-team tournament on May 6-7, 2023, at the SUNY Canton Turf Field. The hosts will face fourth-seeded Thomas College (3-3 NAC, 4-8 overall) in a semifinal matchup on Saturday, May 6. The other semifinal game will pit the no. 2 seed Husson University (5-1, 9-4 overall) against no. 3 seed Maine Maritime Academy (4-2, 9-4 overall).

As the top seed, Canton can choose to play the first or second semifinal game on Saturday. Victors from the semifinals on May 6 will compete for the conference championship on Sunday, May 7. Game times will be finalized on Monday, May 1, and updated on the NAC website.
