Player of the Week

Zach Chaisson, UMaine-Farmington
Junior | Forward | Scarborough, Maine
Zach Chaisson had a massive game in the Beavers lone contest of the week. He finished with three goals and two assists to help the Beavers defeat Lesley in the NAC season opener. Chaisson controlled the play from the get go for the Beavers. Chaisson got the offense rolling early, recording a goal in just the 9th minute, lacing a half-volley into the back of the net for the quick lead. Chaisson then slid a beautiful pass across the six-yard box to a wide-open Cade McHugh in the 18th minute to double the Beaver lead. Chaisson drew a penalty in the 38th minute and converted the kick. The junior's strong day continued with an assist just 45 seconds into the 2nd half. Chaisson completed his hat-trick with a rocket in the 54th minute that the Lynx goalie got a piece of, but not enough to keep it out of the back of the net.
