Cutler ended his week 3-0 in at #4 singles and 2-1 at #2 double. His first singles match of the week against Salem State ended up going into a three-set match; he took the match 6-2, 3-6, 7-5. In his other singles matches versus SUNY Delhi, Cutler won two matches 6-4, 7-5 and 6-1, 6-0. While playing #2 doubles, Cutler and his partner would only drop their first match of the week 8-3 against Salem State. Against SUNY Delhi the pair eased their way through both matches winning 8-0.

Jeffrey Blais, VTSU Lyndon

Jeffrey Blais led the Hornets to their first two wins of the season with a sweep of Lesley on Saturday evening. Playing #1 singles, he won his two matches, 6-0, 6-1, and 6-0, 6-0. He also teamed with David Gratton to post a pair of 8-0 wins at #1 doubles.
Rookie of the Week
Stephen Wutzl, VTSU Lyndon
Junior | Brookfield, Connecticut
Lyndon’s Stephen Wutzl won both of his singles matches in the Hornet’s sweep of Lesley in dominating fashion, 6-0, 6-0, and 6-0, 6-1. He and doubles partner James Salvas, also captured a pair of wins at #2 doubles, 8-1 and 8-0.
