Player of the Week
Jessica Legendre – Junior – Lesley University
Jessica Legendre (Leesville, La./Faith Training Christian Academy dominated her matches this week in No. 2 singles and doubles action, going 4-0 overall. In non-conference play vs. Salem State, the junior posted a 6-0, 6-0 win in No. 2 singles action vs. Salem State after an 8-4 win in doubles action. Over the weekend in a key conference match vs. Husson, the 2023 NAC Co-Player of the Year picked up another 6-0, 6-0 singles win as well as an 8-0 doubles win to finish the week 2-0 and help the Lynx down the Eagles in the NAC tilt, 5-4.
Rookie of the Week
Hallee Bodo – Sophomore – SUNY Delhi
Hallee Bodo (Delancey, N.Y./Delaware Academy) posted an impressive 6-0 record on the week going 3-0 in No. 1 Singles action as well as 3-0 in No. 2 doubles play. She opened the week with a hard-fought 6-4 doubles win vs. Mount Saint Mary College while also securing a 6-2, 6-1 victory in singles. Her streak continued as the Broncos started conference play vs. Vermont State Lyndon with an 8-0 doubles victory followed by 6-0, 6-0 win in her singles match. Bodo closed the week with two more wins in NAC play vs. Vermont State Johnson. She started the day with an 8-0 win in No.2 doubles before cruising to a 6-0, 6-0 in No.1 singles to help Delhi move to 2-0 in conference action.
