WATERVILLE, Maine - The North Atlantic Conference weekly honors for the reporting period ending January 12th have been announced and this week's list includes six men's and women's basketball players hailing from five NAC institutions.

Women’s Basketball

Player of the Week:
Alexis Ireland – Senior – Forward – UMaine-Presque Isle

UMaine-Presque Isle senior Alexis Ireland (Howland, Maine) led UMPI to a 2-0 week with 21 and 18 point performances over Lesley and SUNY Delhi. She also pulled down 23 and 18 rebounds respectively and continues to lead the NAC in both scoring and rebounds. She went 17-for-20 from the free throw line and shot 46% from the field in the two conference victories.

Defensive Player of the Week:
Jordyn Lengle – Senior – Forward – Husson University

Husson University senior Jordyn Lengle (Concord, N.H.) had an impressive week, averaging six points, seven rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.8 blocks, and 2.8 steals as Husson went 4-0. Highlights included eight points, eight rebounds, two assists, and four steals against Vermont State Johnson, and 10 points, nine rebounds, and three steals against Lesley University.

Rookie of the Week:
Jaydn Pingree – Freshman – Guard – UMaine-Farmington

UMaine-Farmington freshman Jadyn Pingree (Jay, Maine) had a standout week, averaging 15.3 points per game on an impressive 74% shooting (17-for-23) to help the Beavers secure three conference wins and a 3-1 record overall. Highlights included 13 points against SUNY Delhi, 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting against Johnson, and 18 points on 7-for-8 shooting in a road win over Lyndon.

Co-Player of the Week:
Parker Desjardins – Senior – Guard – Thomas College

Thomas College senior guard Parker Desjardins (Jackman, Maine) was outstanding last week, leading the Terriers to a 3-1 record with wins over SUNY Cobleskill (106-97), VTSU Lyndon (104-82), and VTSU Johnson (110-105), and a narrow loss to SUNY Delhi (62-66). He averaged 25.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.8 assists while shooting 51% from the field, over 50% from three, and 80% from the free-throw line. Desjardins, who committed just four turnovers in 150 minutes (37.5 MPG), scored 20+ points in all four games, highlighted by a career-high 41 points against Lyndon on Saturday.

Co-Player & Defensive Player of the Week:
Curt Heinz – Senior – Forward – Maine Maritime Academy

During MMA's 3-0 conference week, senior Curt Heinz delivered a trio of standout performances, highlighted by a triple-double—22 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists—in an 82-56 win at Lesley University, marking just the 11th triple-double in NCAA Division III this season and his first in two years. Across the week, Heinz averaged a dominant double-double with 25.0 points on 59% shooting, 16.0 rebounds, 22 assists, and 11 blocks. Other highlights included 32 points, 19 rebounds, seven assists, and five blocks in an 85-68 win over VSU-Johnson, and 21 points, eight rebounds, and five assists in a 70-58 victory over VSU-Lyndon.

Rookie of the Week:
Connor Heald – Freshman – Guard – Husson University

Husson freshman guard Connor Heald (Lakewood Ranch, Fla.) averaged 11.3 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting 52.0% (14-27) from the floor in three conference wins last week. He netted 10 points with three boards against Lyndon, poured in 19 points with three caroms versus Johnson, and tallied five points, nine rebounds, and a pair of assists against Lesley.
