COBLESKILL, New York – After the first round of the 2025 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men’s Golf Championship, the Husson Eagles lead the pack as they sit at the top of the leaderboard with a 301 (+21) team score.
SUNY Delhi follows closely behind the Eagles, as they are in second place with a 306 (+26) score. Lesley University (320, +40), SUNY Cobleskill (325, +45), and Maine Maritime Academy (335, +55) rounded out the top five teams on Saturday. Closing out the leaderboard are UMaine-Presque Isle (337, +57), UMaine-Farmington (345, +65), and Vermont State University Johnson (382, +102).
Delhi’s Grady Glennon and Husson’s Bradley Chisholm are leading all players with a 71(+1) score card. Glennon registered three birdies on the day with Chisholm recording two himself along with an eagle on the ninth hole. Vincent Spirito (Lesley), Jace Cook (Husson), and Josh House (SUNY Cobleskill) all shot a 74 (+4) and head into day two in a three-way tie for third.
Husson’s Ty Dickson sits in sixth with a 77 (+7) score through 18 holes. Completing the list of top 10 individual scores on day one is Mac McCarthy (Maine Maritime), Jonathan Tecchio (SUNY Delhi), and John Souva (SUNY Delhi) who are all tied for seventh after shooting a 78 (+8) on the Cobleskill Golf and Country Club course.
The final round of the two-day championship will be played tomorrow, and split tee times will be utilized. Tee times will be based on the order of team finishes from day one. All teams will begin at 10:00 AM with teams No. 4 through 1 teeing off from hole 1, while No. 8 through 5 teams will start from hole 10.
