Broncos Capture 2025 NAC Men’s Golf Championship, Glennon Earns Medalist

COBLESKILL, New York – The SUNY Delhi Broncos secured their third North Atlantic Conference Men’s Golf Championship Sunday at the Cobleskill Golf and Country Club. 

Entering round two in second place and five strokes behind defending champion Husson, Delhi pulled ahead and completed day two eight strokes ahead of the Eagles. The Broncos finished with a two-day score card of 603 (306, 296, +43) on the par 70, 6163-yard course. Three Delhi players finished in the top 10, including Grady Glennon (143, +3) who repeated at top medalist honors (co-medalist in 2024). 

Husson’s Bradley Chisholm placed second with seven over 140 (71, 76, +7) while the Broncos’ Matthew Daniels shot 10 over for 150 (79, 71, +10) and placed third. Rounding out the top five individuals were Lesley’s Vincent Spirito (4th) and Cobleskill’s Josh House (5th). Spirito (74, 77, +11) finished one stroke ahead of House (74, 78, +12). 

Husson took second with a combined team score of 611 (301, 310, +51). Along with Chrisholm, Jace Cook placed sixth for the Eagles, shooting 13 over (153). Third place went to Lesley University at 646 (320, 326, +86) who saw Marc Bota Carbonell tie for seventh with Husson’s Juan Hernandez, both shot 154 (+14). 

Completing the top five teams were Maine Maritime Academy and SUNY Cobleskill who finished fourth and fifth respectively. The Mariners had a two-day score of 653 (335, 318, +93) while the Fighting Tigers finished with a score of 659 (325, 334, +99). 

UMaine-Presque Isle came in sixth with a combined score of 695 (337,358). Following the Owls in seventh and eighth place was UMaine-Farmington (345, 369) and Vermont State University Johnson (382, 377).

Highlights from the tournament: 

  • Husson’s Bradley Chisholm sinking the tournament’s only eagle on hole 9 on day one
  • Lesley’s Marc Bota Carbonell ranked first in birdies with seven across the two days
  • Delhi’s Grady Glennon shot the most pars of the tournament with 25
  • The Broncos ranked first in total number of team birdies (20) and pars (95)

 

Delhi will represent the North Atlantic Conference at the 2026 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championshipwhich will be played at the Mission Resort and Club in Orlando, Florida, hosted by Oglethorpe University and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission.
