Zach McLaughlin | UMaine-Farmington | Sophomore | Guard | Hampden, Maine
 
McLaughlin had a huge weekend, helping the Beavers to a 2-0 performance at the Spartan Classic. In Friday evenings 83-61 victory over VTSU Castleton, McLaughlin recorded a career-high 32 points, shooting 12-for-18 from the floor and 5-for-9 from beyond the arc. He also finished the game with four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. The next day, McLaughlin finished with 16 points in just 22 minutes of play in Farmington 82-64 win over Norwich.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
 
Pierce Walston | Husson University | First-Year | Guard | Orono, Maine
 
Walston showcased his abilities in his first week as an Eagles, as Husson went 1-1 in two non-conference games, defeating UMaine Fort Kent 113-90 on Monday, before falling 89-69 to Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Saturday. Walston tallied two steals and six defensive rebounds in Husson's win over UMFK, while posting five steals and a defensive rebound in the loss to SJC in just 41 combined minutes over the two games.

Drew Hamilton | Maine Maritime Academy | First-Year | Guard | McKinney, Texas
 
Maine Maritime Academy men's basketball freshman Drew Hamilton finished the week averaging 17.5 points per game and four rebounds per game. Hamilton finished with 11 points and three rebounds against Elms and 24 points and five boards against Rutgers-Camden.
