Co-Player of the Week

Saige Evans | Husson University | Sophomore | Forward | Greenbush, Maine

Evans was instrumental in helping Husson to a 2-1 week last week, including a 2-0 start to NAC play. The sophomore forward posted seven points against No. 12 Bates College in a midweek loss, before registering 11 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in a hard-fought 53-52 victory over Thomas College this past Friday. Evans erupted for a career-day in a dominant win over Lesley University, as she totaled a career-best 33 points on 14-20 shooting, in addition to eight rebounds and a steal in just 29 minutes of action.

Co-Player of the Week

Jessica Dow | UMaine-Farmington | Junior | Guard/Forward | Saco, Maine

Dow had a big week leading the Beavers to a pair of NAC victories, including delivering a dominant performance against reigning NAC Champion, SUNY Cobleskill. Against the Fighting Tigers, Dow scored a season-high 26 points. She shot 9-of-18 from the field and hit a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line. She also finished the game with five rebounds, two steals, and a block. The next day against SUNY Delhi, Dow did a little bit of everything, finishing with a game-high 13 points to go along with five steals. For the week Dow averaged 19.5 points and 3.5 steals per game. 

Defensive Player of the Week

Kiara Mack | Vermont State University Lyndon | Senior | Forward | Milton, Vt.

Mack averaged 12 points, 12 rebounds, and five blocked shots as the Hornets split two games last week.  In a tight loss to unbeaten Plymouth State, she posted a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.  Then in a win over Wentworth, she established a new school record with nine blocked shots and added eight points, 12 rebounds, and five assists.  She was an efficient 10-for-17 (58.8%) from the floor for the week.

Rookie of the Week

Roxy Dagostino | Thomas College | First-Year | Guard | Perth, Australia

Against Husson on Saturday, Dagostino played 23 minutes off the bench, scoring 10 points (good for second on the team) and adding six rebounds (second on team) with one assist. Dagostino hit a huge three pointer with five minutes to go to nearly complete a comeback win as the Eagles won 53-52. On Sunday, Dagostino scored a team high 18 points in just 16 minutes with four rebounds and four steals to seal a statement 83-41 conference win against UMaine-Presque Isle.
