WATERVILLE, Maine – The 2025 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women’s Soccer postseason honors have been announced. This year's accolades include Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Senior Scholar Athlete, Coaching Staff of the Year, and First and Second Team All-Conference.

Each season, the NAC selects a Sportsmanship Team, which includes one player from each institution as chosen by their head coach. This award honors athletes who exhibit outstanding sportsmanship, contributing to the overall culture of women’s soccer through integrity and behavior that exceeds the expectations of the game.

Natalie Tracy of UMaine-Farmington was voted the 2025 Women’s Soccer Player of the Year by the conference’s head coaches. Husson received three postseason awards as Caley Nault was selected as the Defensive Player of the Year and the Senior Scholar Athlete, and Eagles’ newcomer Jaquie Pangburn received the Rookie of the Year honors. Lesley University was voted the Coaching Staff of the Year by their NAC peers.

Tracy (Oakland, Maine) received her first NAC Player of the Year honors after proving to be a dynamic offensive talent and fierce competitor throughout the season for UMaine-Farmington. Overall, she ranked second in the NAC with 16 goals and in overall points with 29, averaging 2.54 points per game. Tracy delivered six multi-goal performances and led Farmington in goals in both conference and overall play.
In NAC action, Tracy continued to excel, finishing first in shots per game (6.83), first in points per game (3.83), and second in goals with 11. Her impact earned her two NAC Player of the Week honors as well as national recognition as a TopDrawer Soccer Player of the Week.

Husson’s Nault (Deerfield, N.H.) adds to her postseason accolades by earning NAC Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and the third time overall. She has been the backbone of the Husson defense, which allowed just four goals in conference play this year. Nault started in 15 of the 17 games she played in the regular season, recording one goal and one assist. She was also named to the NAC All-Conference First Team again this year, making it the fourth First Team selection of her career. She has led Husson in minutes played in three of her four seasons, finishing second in the other. A highly intelligent center back, Nault combines physicality, speed, and strong tackling ability, making her capable of matching up with any opposing forward. Her leadership also stands out—she has served as a team captain for the past two years.

Nault was also selected, by vote of the conference head coaches and NAC institutions’ Faculty Athletic Representatives, as the 2025 NAC Women’s Soccer Senior Scholar Athlete. Now in her fourth year at Husson University and enrolled in the demanding Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, she maintains a remarkable 3.93 GPA while balancing clinical coursework, labs, and a full competitive season.
Nault’s impact extends well beyond athletics. She is an active member of the OT/PT Student Club, works in a physical therapy clinic during her academic off-hours, and volunteers extensively in the greater Bangor community. She serves as a coach for the Fighting Eagles Boxing Club, working directly with individuals living with Parkinson’s disease to improve mobility, balance, and quality of life. Additionally, she contributes her time to Special Olympics, and is a founding volunteer in Husson’s “Beyond the Game” initiative—an emerging program that connects student-athletes with the neurodivergent community through inclusive, relationship-based activities.

Pangburn (Eddington, Maine) made an immediate impact for the Eagles in her debut season, leading Husson and all NAC rookies—and finishing tied for third overall in the conference—with 11 goals across 18 matches. In conference play, she posted eight goals and two assists for 18 points, including three game-winning goals. She ranked third in the NAC in both conference goals and points, and second in game-winners.
Overall, Pangburn finished with 25 total points, the third-highest mark in the conference. She also ranked second overall statistics in the NAC with four game-winning goals and recorded an impressive .667 shot-on-goal percentage (26/39). Throughout the season, she earned NAC Rookie of the Week honors three times and was also named Player of the Week once.

The Lesley University leadership of Head Coach Paul Vasconcelos and Assistant Coaches Jenna Fitzgerald, Brittley Gann, and Keelie Verbeek earned their second Coaching Staff of the Year (2023, 2025). The Lynx claimed their first NAC women’s soccer title defeating Maine Maritime 3-1 in the championship game.
