Player of the Week

Gregory had a stellar week as VTSU Lyndon went 2-1 in three North Atlantic Conference games. He began with a 29-point effort against Lesley. 25 of his 29 came in the second half as Lyndon rallied from a 32-point deficit to get within four points, only to come up just short. He then led the Hornets to a pair of road wins over the weekend, starting with a 33-point outburst at SUNY Cobleskill on Friday. He again came up big in the second half, as 27 of his 33 came after intermission. Gregory closed out his week with 21 points in a win streak SUNY Delhi. For the third game in a row he did the majority of his damage in the second half, tallying 12 points after the break. Gregory was at his best in all three contests when the games were in the balance, as he averaged 21.3 points in the second half for the week, converting 19 of 29 shots from the floor (65.5%), 3 of 6 from behind the arc, and 23 of 29 (79.3%) from the free throw line.
Defensive Player of the Week
Jason Reynolds | UMaine-Farmington | Junior | Forward | Winslow, Maine
Reynolds had another great week for the Beavers, compiling two more double-doubles in a 2-0 week, helping to secure a pair of NAC wins. Reynolds finished the game Friday against Thomas 20 points and 16 boards in an overtime win over Thomas, knocking down 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. The next day, Reynolds tallied 16 points and 17 rebounds in a road victory over Lesley. For the Week Reynolds averaged 18.0 points and 16.5 rebounds per game.
Co-Rookie of the Week
Kai Harvey | SUNY Delhi | First-Year | Guard | Harlem, N.Y.
Harvey tallied 18 points, eight assists, and four stills in the Broncos 88-72 winning effort versus VTSU Johnson. He followed that performance with 12 points, 13 assist double-double performance the next day along with five rebounds and four steals in a 84-73 setback against the Lyndon Hornets.
Co-Rookie of the Week
Aaron Pensel | Maine Maritime Academy | First-Year | Forward | Tallahassee, Fla.
Maine Maritime Academy men's basketball freshman Aaron Pensel finished the week averaging 15 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. Pensel recorded back-to-back double-doubles, tallying six assists, six blocks and one steal on the week.
