2025 NAC Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll Announced
WATERVILLE, Maine – The 2025 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women’s Lacrosse Preseason Poll has been released, with Husson University unanimously selected to win the 2025 NAC Championship after earning all five first-place votes and 25 points.
Maine Maritime Academy took second with 20 points, followed by UMaine-Farmington in third with 13 points. Thomas College (12 points) and VTSU-Lyndon (5 points) placed fourth and fifth, respectively, in the poll voted on by the conference’s women’s lacrosse coaches earlier this week.
Husson finished the 2024 regular season with a 6-1 NAC record, earning the #2 seed in the conference tournament. In the semifinal against #3 SUNY Morrisville, the Eagles trailed 11-6 in the third quarter but rallied with a 6-1 run to tie the game at 11-11 and force overtime. The Mustangs scored with 1:35 left in the first overtime to end Husson’s season and advance to the championship game.

The top two teams in the final women’s lacrosse standings will face off in the 2025 NAC Championship, which will be hosted by the highest seed on Saturday, May 3. The NAC Women's Lacrosse Champion earns the conference’s automatic qualifier into the NCAA DIII National Tournament, which begins on Wednesday, May 7.
