Thayne Named D3hoops.com All-Region
WATERVILLE, Maine – SUNY Cobleskill senior center Logan Thayne (Hoosic Falls, N.Y.) has earned D3hoops.com Second Team All-Region accolades for the second-consecutive season.
A two-time NAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference selection, Thayne averaged 18.0 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game in her senior season. She shot 45.4% (184-405) from the field, 34.5% (41-119) from three-point range, and 84.2% (96-114) from the free-throw line.
Nationally, she ranked second in NCAA Division III in double-doubles (24), sixth in total rebounds (347), and 11th in rebounding average.
Thayne finished her career with 990 points, 645 rebounds, and 123 blocks in 63 games over two-plus seasons. She is the only player in SUNY Cobleskill women’s basketball history to receive D3hoops.com All-Region recognition.
