2025 NAC Baseball Yearly Honors Announced
WATERVILLE, Maine – The 2025 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Baseball postseason awards have been released. Awards include Senior Scholar Athlete, Player of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Coaching Staff of the Year, and First Team and Second All-Conference honors.

Raymond Morales (Naugatuck, Conn.) has been selected as the Rookie of the Year, and
Husson University has secured 2025 NAC Baseball Coaching Staff of the Year accolades.
Each season, the NAC names a Sportsmanship Team, with one honoree per institution nominated by their head coach. This recognition is awarded to individuals who demonstrate exceptional sportsmanship and positively impact the culture of track & field with integrity beyond the sport’s requirements. The seven NAC Sportsmanship Team honorees are listed below.
Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year: Will Harriman, UMaine-Farmington
The NAC Senior Scholar-Athlete Award honors one graduating senior per sport who has excelled academically and athletically while serving as a role model in the classroom and on the court. Nominees exemplify the NAC’s core values: excellence, integrity, equity, diversity, inclusion, and well-being.
UMaine-Farmington senior pitcher
Will Harriman (Biddeford, Maine) has been named the 2025 NAC Baseball Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year by vote of the conference head coaches and Faculty Athletic Representatives. A Bio/Pre-Med major with a Mathematics minor, Harriman holds a 3.819 GPA and is a regular Dean’s List student. A two-year team captain, he also served as UMF’s Morgan’s Message Representative, Special Projects Assistant in Athletics, and a Biology tutor. He worked as a Research Assistant and published a study on SREB receptors in green-spotted pufferfish, and in 2023 completed a Maine INBRE research fellowship at the University of New England on pain sensitization in Drosophila larvae. His accolades include the Steve Clifford Community/Classroom Excellence Award (2023, 2024), NAC All-Sportsmanship Team (2024), NAC All-Academic Team (2022–24), and CSC District All-Academic honors (2023, 2024). Harriman has been accepted to pursue a Master’s in Biology at UNE.
For his career, Harriman made 33 appearances on the mound with 80 strikeouts in 142 innings over four seasons.
Player of the Year: Jackson Curtis, Husson University
Husson grad student first baseman
Jackson Curtis (Ellsworth, Maine) has earned 2025 NAC Baseball Player of the Year honors after hitting .394 (56-142) with 30 runs, 13 doubles, eight home runs, 47 RBI, and five stolen bases during his final collegiate campaign. The two-time First Team All-Conference selection currently leads the conference in slugging percentage (.669) and ranks second in OPS (1.139), hits (56), RBI, doubles, and home runs, and third in batting average.
One of the finest players in Husson baseball history, Curtis leads the Eagles into the NCAA Tournament boasting a career .351 (.216-615) batting average with 136 runs, 52 doubles, 32 home runs, and 180 RBI in 174 games. He ranks among the active NCAA DIII career leaders in RBI (23rd), home runs (31st), doubles (36th), total bases (37th), and hits (69th.
Pitcher of the Year: Matt Wallingford, Husson University

Matt Wallingford (Greene, Maine) earns NAC Pitcher of the Year honors for the second straight season after recording a 1.56 ERA, 4-1 record, and 46 strikeouts over 40.1 innings. He held opposing hitters to a .185 average (27-for-146) and surrendered just three extra-base hits over the entire season. Though not at full strength late in the season, the right-hander still fired five shutout innings with four strikeouts in a NAC Tournament win over Thomas for the 2025 NAC Champion Eagles.
For his career, Wallingford owns a 13-5 record with a 2.58 ERA—ranked 22nd among all active NCAA pitchers—and has recorded 169 strikeouts over 153.2 innings across 44 collegiate appearances. He’s also posted a 1.21 WHIP while holding opponents to a .204 batting average.
Rookie of the Year: Raymond Morales, Lesley University

Raymond Morales (Naugatuck, Conn.) earns 2025 NAC Baseball Rookie of the Year honors after an impressive debut season as a two-way contributor. At the plate, he hit .304 (38-for-125) with 44 runs, three doubles, 17 RBI, five stolen bases, and a .442 on-base percentage. Defensively, he anchored the Lynx infield with a .991 fielding percentage, committing just one error in 109 chances. On the mound, Morales emerged as a key reliever, posting a 4-2 record with one save, 26 strikeouts, only two walks, a 2.61 ERA, and a 1.02 WHIP over 20.2 innings and 12 appearances.
Coaching Staff of the Year: Husson University
The 2025 NAC Baseball Coaching Staff of the Year honors go to Husson University, led by sixth-year Head Coach

Cam Graham ’21. Morris and his staff led Husson to their sixth consecutive NAC Championship this spring, capping a 24-14 season that included a 13-4 record in conference play. Husson secured the No. 1 seed and hosting rights for the 2025 NAC Tournament, during which the Eagles won all three of their games by a 29-9 combined score.
