Stoddard Selected to Play in IWLCA Senior All-Star Game

CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy senior Hazel Stoddard (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) has been selected to compete in the 2025 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Senior All-Star Game. Stoddard will suit up for the Division III Blue Team in the prestigious showcase.

A dominant presence in the midfield, Stoddard capped her final collegiate season by being named the 2025 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Player of the Year and earning First Team All-Conference honors. She guided the Mariners to the NAC Championship game, finishing the season with 94 points on 57 goals and 37 assists.

Stoddard leaves an indelible mark on Maine Maritime’s record book as the program’s all-time leader in points (384), goals (284), assists (100), shots (515), man-up goals (31), ground balls (232), caused turnovers (116), and draw controls (413).

The IWLCA Senior All-Star Game features 52 of the top graduating Division III players, offering one final opportunity to compete at the collegiate level and honor their contributions to the game. Selections are made by the IWLCA coaching staff based on nominations from head coaches across the country.

The 2025 IWLCA Senior All-Star Games will take place on Saturday, May 31, at Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. The Division II game begins at 10:00 a.m. ET, followed by Division III at 12:30 p.m., and Division I at 3:00 p.m. Admission is free for all three games, which will not be streamed.
