2025 NAC Players to Watch

The North Atlantic Conference is pleased to present the 2025 Men's Soccer Preseason Players to Watch list, which includes 20 student-athletes who were selected by their head coaches to represent their respective teams.

  • Connor Fancher | SUNY Cobleskill | Junior | Forward | Worcester, N.Y.

A West Division First Team All-NAC forward, Fancher returns after leading the Tigers with 11 goals, the second-highest single-season total in program history. He finished fourth in the NAC in goals, first in the West Division, fifth in total points (23), and fifth in shots on goal (22), while earning NAC Player of the Week honors twice.

Adam Champlin | SUNY Cobleskill | Junior | Goalkeeper | South Kortright, N.Y.

In goal, Champlin is back after a West Division First Team All-NAC season in which he ranked second in the conference in saves (114) and saves per game (6.71), and third in save percentage (.770). He was also a two-time NAC Defensive Player of the Week honoree.

  • Christian Navarro | SUNY Delhi | Sophomore | Midfielder | Staten Island, N.Y.

As a first-year midfielder Navarro netted two goals and tallied two assists, influencing the Broncos' attack and showing his creativity. Navarro made an impact despite starting in only seven games last season, and with space in front of him in the depth chart clearing, he will have many more opportunities this season. Navarro is expected to be a key piece of the Bronco attack in the 2025 season.

    Kian Flynn | SUNY Delhi | Sophomore | Midfielder | Waxhaw, N.C.

Flynn was an immediate presence upon joining the Broncos for the 2024 season, starting in 15 of the Broncos' 19 contests and logging the most minutes of all first-years.  A defensive midfielder, Flynn is a towering presence and expected to be an even bigger threat on set pieces heading into this season. Expect a big year for Kian Flynn in 2025.

  • Alex Carter | VTSU Johnson | First-Year | Defender | St. Albans, Vt.

A Vermont native, first-year Alex Carter will look to assist the Badgers in their back line as a defender.

Owen Marchessault | VTSU Johnson | Junior | Midfielder | Burlington, Vt.

A two-year starter for the Badgers, Marchessault returns for his junior season at Johnson after playing in all 13 games during the 2024 season, scoring a goal and recording an assist for the season.

  • Victor Blanco | Husson University | Junior | Midfielder | Caracas, Venezuela

Blanco was a staple on the backline for Husson last season, making an appearance in all 18 games, while starting in 16. A transfer from Marian University, Blanco also had success off the field, being named to the North Atlantic Conference Fall All-Academic Team, in addition to being inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.

    Daniel Noguera | Husson University | Junior | Midfielder | BogotĂ¡, Colombia

Noguera made an instant impact for Husson by registering a game-winning goal against the Wentworth Institute of Technology in just his second game as an Eagle. Noguera totaled two goals and an assist for the season and was named North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week on Sept. 3, while also being selected as a NAC all-conference honorable mention team selection.

  • Caleb Race | Lesley University | Junior | Defender/Midfielder | Wellington, Fla.

Race played in and started all 16 games for the Lynx last season, anchoring the defensive line as a starting centerback. The rising captain helped the squad post a 2.63 goals against average and earned CSC Academic All-Region honors last year.

Nick Wadleigh | Lesley University | Senior | Forward | Glastonbury, Conn.

Wadleigh earned Second Team All-Conference honors in 2024 as the Lynx leading scorer, netting eight goals, all in NAC action to rank tied for fifth overall in the conference. He registered a pair of game-winners, both in NAC action, both vs. UMaine Presque Isle a year a go.

  • Jason Nofsker | VTSU Lyndon | Sophomore | Center Back | Virginia Beach, Va.

Jason was an Honorable Mention All-Conference selection in his first campaign last year.  He started all 12 games that he played in and was named the team's Rookie of the Year.  One of the Hornet captains, he is expected to anchor the back line again this season.

Quinn Bressler | VTSU Lyndon | Senior | Center Back | Norton, Mass.

Quinn is a senior two-year captain who has played 42 games in his Hornet career.  He has started all 29 games over the past two seasons, and will be counted on to provide veteran leadership and stability to a very young Hornet team.  Quinn is also a two-time NAC Sportsmanship Team selection.

  • Ronnie Morgan | Maine Maritime Academy | Senior | Defender | Goffstown, N.H.

The Reigning North Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Year and All-Conference First Team honoree, Ronnie Morgan, returns for his senior season for the Mariners. The defender started in 18 games during the 2024 season and tallied four goals and three assists. He was also voted CSC 2024 Academic All-American First Team.

    John-John Dickenson | Maine Maritime Academy | Senior | Forward | Advance, N.C.

The North Atlantic Conference All-Conference First Team forward John-John Dickenson led the Mariners last season with six goals and 17 points and tied the team with five assists during his 2024 campaign.

  • JJ Greenlaw | UMaine-Farmington | Sophomore | Midfielder | Farmington, Maine

Coming off a promising rookie season, Greenlaw will once again serve as a steadying presence in the midfield for Farmington. He made 17 appearances, including nine starts as a first-year, registering one goal and one assist on his way to earning 2nd Team All-Conference honors.

    Caelan Billings | UMaine-Farmington | Junior | Defender | Sullivan, Maine

After missing time due to injury as a junior, Billings looks to lead a strong defensive unit for the Beavers in 2025. A versatile player, Billings should see time as a defensive midfielder as well as a centerback for Farmington. Known as a fearless defender, Billings brings a high degree of physicality and toughness to the pitch.

  • Isaac Doore | UMaine-Presque Isle | Junior | Midfielder/Forward | Howland, Maine

Doore, from Howland, Maine, returns for his junior season being 1-of-7 starters returning from the Owls 2024 season. During his 2024 campaign, he started and played in all 15 games and recorded three points (1 goal, 1 assist) for the season.

    Max Kennedy | UMaine-Presque Isle | Sophomore | Midfielder/Forward | Towcester, United Kingdom

Kennedy, a talented athlete from Towcester, England, will join the Owls for their 2025 season after transferring from the West Virginia University Institute of Technology.

  • David Ivarsson | Thomas College | Junior | Forward | Reykjavik, Iceland

Ivarsson scored 12 goals and assisted nine times in 18 games last season. His efforts earned him NAC East Division First Team All-Conference

Jamie Fischer | Thomas College | Sophomore | Goalkeeper | Dubendorf, Switzerland

The reigning 2024 NAC Rookie of the Year, Fischer recorded five shutouts and a 1.13 GAA in 17 games played last season. He also earned NAC All-Conference East Division First Team and was the 2024 NAC Tournament’s MVP.
