Owen Spera had a phenomenal collegiate debut on Sunday as Farmington was on the road against Nichols College. The first-year forward registered a hat-trick in just 21 minutes and 22 seconds of game time during the first half of play to help the Beavers win their season-opener, 4-3.

Maine Maritime Academy Men's Soccer first-year Cole Wayman came up clutch in the final 45 minutes of the Mariners 0-0 tie against the University of New England. Wayman finished with three saves in the second half, while facing eight shot attempts.
