Player of the Week

Kayla Nuss | SUNY Delhi | Junior | Outside Hitter/Defensive Specialist | Coplay, Pa.

Kayla had a strong week of play for the Broncos. She finished the week with 43 kills, 45 digs, and 2 aces across four matches. Against Westfield State, Nuss set a new season-high 15 kills. She recorded another double-digit total with 12 kills in Delhi’s match against Nichols. In addition to, Nuss averaged 3.58 kills and 3.75 digs per set while also tallying four assists and two service aces on the week.

Defensive Player of the Week

Hannah Tate | Maine Maritime Academy | Sophomore | Libero | Spring Hill, Tenn.

Maine Maritime Academy Volleyball sophomore Hannah Tate helped the Mariners finish the week 2-0 tallying seven digs while playing three different positions. Tate posted 13 assists, nine service aces and a career-high seven kills.

Rookie of the Week

Lauren Davis | Maine Maritime Academy | First-Year | Outside Hitter | Bernard, Maine

Mariners’ first-year Lauren Davis finished the week with 10 kills and six service aces. Davis finished with a career-high five kills in back-to-back games and five aces against Vermont State University Lyndon.
