Player of the Week

Sydney Williams | Maine Maritime Academy | Junior | Outside Hitter | Melbourne, Fla.

Maine Maritime Academy Volleyball junior Sydney Williams finished the weekend with 23 kills, 20 digs and three blocks against Middlebury College and Williams College - both who were receiving votes. Williams finished with a 13-kill, 13-dig double-double against Middlebury. 

Defensive Player of the Week

Korinne Hall-Johnson | Lesley University | Sophomore | Libero | North Brunswick, N.J.

Hall-Johnson paced the Lesley defensive effort with an impressive 48 digs over three matches and nine sets played, averaging 5.33 digs per set for the Lynx. The New Jersey native opened the week with a team-high 12 digs vs. Fisher before recording back-to-back 18-dig performances in Maine against Thomas and Husson. Both 18-dig efforts for Hall-Johnson were match-highs as well as new career-highs for the sophomore.

Rookie of the Week

Peyton Hooker | Husson University | First-Year | Setter | Plattsburgh, N.Y.

Hooker played a huge roll in Husson's conference-opening win over Lesley, tallying a near triple-double with 16 digs, 13 assists and nine service aces in the match. Hooker started off the second set of Husson's win by serving the first 13 points, four of which were service aces. Hooker also added 10 digs and 12 assists in Husson's midweek non-conference loss to Saint Joseph's College (ME).
