Player of the Week
Miguel Vasconcelos | Lesley University | Senior | Midfielder | Sharon, Mass.
Vasconcelos put together a strong performance against UMaine Presque-Isle in a 4-2 Senior Day victory for the Lynx. The captain played a part in Lesley's first three goals of the night, helping the squad erase an early deficit. His three assists in the match tie the Lesley single-game record (3), last accomplished in 2014, and also help the Lynx capture its third consecutive NAC victory, marking the first time the Lynx have accomplished the feat since re-joining the conference in 2023.
Defensive Player of the Week
Tre Burgess | Thomas College | Senior | Defender | St. Georges, Bermuda
Burgess had a strong week for the Terriers, helping the team secure two shutout victories. On Tuesday at Worcester State, Burgess scored with a curling long-distance shot into the top-right corner of the net. He also contributed defensively from both the left and right back positions. Burgess played a key role in the Terriers’ 1-0 victory at Maine Maritime Academy on Saturday, logging all 90 minutes on defense to help secure the team’s second shutout of the week.
