WATERVILLE, Maine – A distinguished group of 380 student-athletes across the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) member institutions have earned a place on the Fall 2025 NAC All-Academic Team.
The 380 student-athletes honored represent 58 teams across seven NAC-sponsored sports. Women’s soccer leads with 128 honorees, followed by men’s soccer with 87. Rounding out the list are women’s volleyball (52), men’s cross country (31), women’s cross country (28), men’s golf (28), and women’s tennis (26).
The 2025 NAC Fall All-Academic Team includes 131 first-years, 75 sophomores, 90 juniors, 75 seniors, and 9 graduate students, showcasing academic excellence across all class levels.
In order to be eligible for All-Academic honors, student athletes must be participating members of their respective teams and achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Member institutions are responsible for identifying eligible student athletes.
Husson University led the list of 10 NAC institutions with 67 student-athletes and UMaine-Farmington was behind the Eagles with 42 honorees Thomas College, UMaine-Presque Isle, and Lesley all tallied 41, closely behind was Maine Maritime Academy recognizing 40 student-athletes. Also represented were SUNY Delhi (30), Vermont State University Johnson (28), Vermont State University Lyndon (23), and SUNY Cobleskill (20). Women’s tennis associate member Simmons University had seven student-athletes on the list as well.
NAC All-Academic Team honors are bestowed twice a year, at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters. The fall semester All-Academic Team includes only student athletes who competed in sports with a fall conference championship - men's and women's cross country, men's golf, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.
The NAC has 10 full-member institutions including SUNY Cobleskill, SUNY Delhi, UMaine-Farmington, Husson University, Vermont State University Johnson, Lesley University, Vermont State University Lyndon, Maine Maritime Academy, UMaine-Presque Isle, and Thomas College. Simmons University is an associate member in women’s tennis.
