WATERVILLE, Maine – D3hoops.com announced Monday the 2025-26 All-Region teams with the UMaine-Farmington duo of Zach McLaughlin and Jason Reynolds earning Region 1 All-Region accolades.

McLaughlin, the 2025–26 NAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Year and a First Team All-Conference selection, earned D3hoops.com Second Team honors, while Reynolds, the 2025–26 NAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year and also a First Team All-Conference selection, was named to the D3hoops.com Third Team.

With the honors, McLaughlin and Reynolds become the second and third Farmington players in program history to receive All-region recognition.

In his 26-game sophomore season, McLaughlin shot an efficient 46.7% from the field, 41% from beyond the arc, and 79% from the free throw line. McLaughlin set the program’s new single-season record for total points scored, amassing 670 points and eclipsing Cam Brown's previous record of 648 points set during the 1977-78 season.

Reynolds is ranked first in Division III in rebounds per game (15.5), double doubles (26), and defensive rebounds per game (10.69). He finished his junior campaign with 449 total rebounds, breaking the previous Farmington program record of 369 set by Truman Libby during the 1965-66 season. Reynolds tallied 26 double-doubles in 29 games this season, averaging 17.3 points and 15.5 rebounds per game. He finished the season shooting 49.0% from the floor and 37.0% from beyond the arc.

McLaughlin and Reynolds assisted in helping the Beavers earn the No. 1 seed in the 2025-26 Men’s Basketball Tournament after posting a near perfect 17-1 conference record where they claimed their first NAC men’s basketball title since 2010, second overall. Both were named to the 2025-26 Men’s Basketball All-tournament Team, with McLaughlin tabbed as the tournament Most Valuable Player.
