WATERVILLE, Maine – D3hoops.com announced Monday the 2025-26 All-Region teams with Husson’s Saige Evans and UMaine-Farmington’s Jessica Dow earning Region 1 All-Region Second Team honors.
In addition to her All-Region honors, Husson’s Evans was crowned the 2025-26 NAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Year as a sophomore, becoming the first sophomore in Eagle program history to be named conference player of the year. She led the conference in total points with 412 during the regular season and 319 in conference play. She finished the regular season tied for the conference lead with 16.3 points per game (overall) and was first in conference only with 17.7. Evans shot 44.9% from the floor and 78% from the foul line, while recording double-figure point totals in all but one game for Husson this year, including six 20-point games and one 30-point game. Evans has also been one of the top rebounders in the conference, she is second in overall boards per game averaging 9.8 and is first in conference play only with 10.6. Evans recorded 16 double-doubles during the season, ranking tied for 14th in all of Division III.

Dow becomes the first Farmington women’s basketball player in program history to be named to D3hoops.com All-Region Team after helping lead the Beavers to a NAC Championship and ticket to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007. Dow, 2025-26 NAC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Year and NAC First Team All-Conference selection, was effective from both ends of the court for the Beavers, shooting 45.6% from the field, 34.6% from beyond the arc, and 72% from the free throw line. She tallied 363 points and averaged 12.5 per game with 75 assists. Defensively, she grabbed 159 rebounds (5.48 per game), had 84 steals (2.9 per game), and 25 blocks. A three-time NAC Defensive Player of the Week selection, she was routinely tasked with guarding the opposing team’s top offensive threat, anchoring her team’s defensive effort all season long.
