Kali Wooster | VTSU Johnson | Senior | Fairfax, Vt.
Kali Wooster ran in both the open 800m and 4x400m at the SNHU Spring Invitational for the Badgers, finishing second in the open 800m, .04 seconds behind first-place, clocking a 2:22.50 time, the fastest NAC 800m outdoor time run since the spring season of 2022. Additionally, Wooster anchored the women's 4x400m to a school record of over 11 seconds with a final leg time of 1:02.80. Both marks register as school records for Johnson.
Field Athlete of the Week
Abigail Conlogue | Husson University | Junior | Brownville, Maine
Conlogue earned her first event win of the season in her first outdoor meet of the year at the Yellow Jacket Open on Saturday, as she captured first in the javelin throw. Conlogue tallied a distance of 33.69 meters to take the win, while also competing in the hammer and discus throws, placing 15th and 20th respectively in the events.
Rookie of the Week
Heather Alexander | UMaine-Farmington | First-Year | Orleans, Vt.
Alexander earned a provisional qualification into the New England Championship in the javelin after her throw reached 33.53 meters. Alexander placed 6th overall in the event.
