WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference announced it's 2026 NAC Men’s Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Sophomore guard Zach McLaughlin was named the NAC Tournament Most Valuable Player after helping lead UMaine-Farmington to their first NAC men’s basketball title since 2010.
McLaughlin poured in 59 points across the Beavers’ two tournament contests, including a 40-point explosion in Farmington’s semifinal victory over SUNY Cobleskill. Over the two games, he added seven rebounds, three steals, and two blocks while shooting 19-for-43 (.441) from the field, 6-for-16 from three-point range, and an impressive 15-for-16 (.936) from the free-throw line.
McLaughlin was one of three Farmington student-athletes to earn All-Tournament Team honors. UMaine-Presque Isle had two honorees while Husson and SUNY Cobleskill had one each.
