ORONO, Maine – The 2026 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championship opened Saturday afternoon at The University of Maine with the High Jump, Pole Vault and Hammer Throw events.
Thomas College earned three first-place finishes as Jontreaz Hardy and Emma Burr each cleared the top heights in the high jump—Burr repeating as the NAC champion—while Miles Gadwah claimed the pole vault title. Husson recorded two event wins, with Megan Fletcher (hammer throw) and Alexis Freeman (pole vault) both repeating as NAC champions in their respective events. Furthermore, host UMaine-Farmington, added a first-place finish as Alex Crews reached the top of the podium in the hammer throw.
The remainder of the championship resumes Sunday at 10:00 AM at the Alfond Sports Stadium on UMaine’s campus.
