Player of the Week

Wassim Chaib | Lesley University | Junior | Midfielder | East Boston, Mass.

Chaib registered a brace to lift the Lynx to a 4-0 victory against UMaine Augusta on Saturday afternoon for the program's first victory of the 2026 season. The sophomore found the back of the net in the 49th minute to open up a one-goal game before sealing the victory with Lesley's fourth goal of the afternoon in the 64th minute. In the Lynx 2-2 draw against Mitchell, Chaib also scored the equalizing goal in the 56th minute. The junior tallied three goals and went 10-for-20 for shots on goal for the week.

Defensive Player of the Week

Gustav Franzen | Thomas College | Sophomore | Defender | Skoevde, Sweden

Franzen had a strong week for the Terriers, serving as a super-sub as Thomas went 1-1. Despite being a defender, he earned two assists, one in both games this week in a combined 60 minutes played. Despite a 3-2 setback against NESCAC opponent Colby College, the Terriers were able to earn a 4-2 conference win over UMaine-Farmington. Franzen's ability to win the ball back, then begin attacks was extremely valuable for the Terriers this past week.

Rookie of the Week

Ludovico Barosi | Husson University | First-Year | Midfielder

Barosi recorded his first collegiate goal on Saturday in Husson's narrow home loss to No. 7 Wheaton College by a final score of 2-1. Barosi completed a spectacular sliding shot into the net to give the Eagles 1-0 lead going into halftime against the nationally-ranked Lyons, before two Wheaton goals to open the first 10 minutes of the second half put them in front.
