Maine Maritime Academy volleyball senior Ally Hadley put together an impressive week for the Mariners recording 40 kills, 34 digs, three service aces and three blocks over three games against the University of Scranton (3-1), No. 7 MIT (3-0) and Brandeis University (3-1). Hadley recorded two double-double on the week with 12 kills and 16 Digs against MIT and 13 kills and 10 digs against Brandeis. Her 16 digs against MIT was one shy of tying her career game-high.

Defensive Player of the Week

Nikki Alvarez | VTSU Johnson | First-Year | Libero | Stuart, Fla.

Over 13 total sets against New England College and SUNY Canton, Alvarez accumulated a staggering 63 digs, averaging nearly 5 digs per set with unwavering consistency. Her week featured two standout, high-volume performances—posting 20 digs in a hard-fought five-set victory over NEC and a monstrous 36-dig outing in a five-set marathon against Canton. Consistently extending rallies, absorbing powerful attacks, and stabilizing the Badgers' defense in key moments.

Faith Reed | Maine Maritime Academy | First-Year | Setter | Kaneohe, Hawaii

Maine Maritime Academy volleyball freshman Faith Reed finished the week with 88 assists, 14 digs and four service aces across three matches against the University of Scranton (3-1), No. 7 MIT (3-0) and Brandeis University (3-1). Reed registered 31 assists against Scranton, 27 against MIT and 30 against Brandeis. She currently owns the NAC’s highest single-match assist total this season.
