Gerfen struck twice from the penalty spot for Husson, who opened the season with a commanding 3-0 win on the road over Saint Joseph's College of Maine, before falling at home on Sunday in a well-played contest against RV University of Wisconsin-La Crosse by a final of 2-0. The PK goals for Gerfen in Friday's season-opener were the first two tallies of her career.

Rutledge’s speed, skill, and attacking ability proved to be the difference-maker Saturday, as she twice broke behind the Colby-Sawyer defense to find the back of the net and lead Thomas to a crucial 2-0 victory. Rutledge scored the game-winning goal and added an insurance tally, finishing the match with two goals on three shots on target for four points. The victory marked Thomas’ first win over Colby-Sawyer in more than 15 years.
 
Defensive Player of the Week

Emily Rock | Thomas College | Senior | Goalkeeper | Bridgton, Maine
 
Rock was a standout performer in net for the Terriers last week, posting a .50 goals-against average and a .944 save percentage while turning aside 17 shots across two games. On Tuesday against Plymouth State, Rock kept the Terriers within striking distance with nine impressive saves, allowing just one goal and keeping her team in the game until the final whistle. Saturday, Rock delivered another standout performance against Colby-Sawyer, making eight saves—including several key close-range stops—to earn the shutout in a crucial non-conference victory. The win also helped the Terriers secure their first victory over Colby-Sawyer in more than 15 years.
 
Rookie of the Week

Kaitlyn Frydenlund | VTSU Lyndon | Junior | Midfielder | Westminster, Colo.
 
Playing in her first collegiate game, Frydenlund notched three goals to lead Lyndon to their first win of the season, a 4-0 triumph over Vermont State University Randolph.  It was Lyndon's first hat trick since 2021, and only the eighth since the Hornets joined the NAC and rejoined Division III in 2008.
