Maine Maritime Academy senior Sydney Williams helped the Mariners to a 2-1 week, recording 32 kills, a .264 hitting percentage, 24 digs, five blocks, and three service aces. Williams averaged 4.00 kills and points per set while adding 3.25 digs per set. She recorded double-digit kills in both matches against the University of New England and the University of Southern Maine, including a double-double with 16 kills and 13 digs in the Mariners’ 1-3 loss to UNE. Williams followed with 10 kills in Maine Maritime’s 3-0 victory over Southern Maine.

Maine Maritime Academy junior Hannah Tate anchored the Mariners’ defense last week, racking up 54 digs across three matches to help Maine Maritime finish 2-1. Tate averaged 5.40 digs per set while adding six service aces, 15 assists, and two kills. She recorded 21 digs against the University of New England, just three shy of her career high, before tallying 15 digs against Dean and 18 against Southern Maine.

Melius-Paddick stormed onto the collegiate scene with an impressive 16-kill performance to lift Lesley to a 3-0 victory in their 2026 opener versus Yeshiva, snapping a 114-match losing streak and marking the program's first season-opening win since 2018. The middle hitter swung at a .394 clip in the win, adding four digs and one assist for the Lynx before following it up with a seven-kill, two-ace, .375 hitting performance versus Baruch in the tri-match finale to finish the weekend averaging 3.83 kills per set while hitting a combined .388.
