Adam Richardson (Bradley, Maine) is the Player of the Year and the Senior Scholar Athlete. Richardson led the conference in field goal percentage (64.8 NAC, 64.2 overall) this season, averaging 20.1 points per NAC game and 18.6 ppg overall. He shot over 70 percent from the floor in six conference games this season, including two over 80 percent. An offensive threat and leader on the court, the forward averaged 7.5 buckets for every 11.6 attempts and stayed on the court for over 36 minutes a game, playing wire to wire in four NAC matchups. Richardson also hit 66 percent of his free throw attempts in conference games (71.1% overall) and handed out a league-leading 71 assists, or 5.1 per game. Over the entire season, he dished out 114 assists (4.6 per game), also leading the NAC. The three-time NAC Player of the Week this season grabbed 6.0 rebounds per game, 5.2 coming defensively. Richardson is the team captain and the first player in MMA history to record a triple-double. Richardson is a senior carrying a 3.43 GPA in the Engineering Technology major at Maine Maritime Academy. He logged 600 hours during a 2018 summer engineering co-op in the Utilities and Recovery area of the SAPPI Somerset Paper Mill (Somerset, Maine) where he worked on a major project to revamp the training curriculum for operations employees. He also performed inspections, sampling, and a cost-savings analysis with the engineers. Richardson was selected to the 2017-18 NABC Honors Court, 2016-17 NAC All-Academic Team, and the 2016-17 Men's Basketball Sportsmanship Team. He volunteers annually for the MMA Special Olympics Bocce Tournament.

Sophomore forward Andrew Fitch (Melbourne, Australia) is the 2019 Defensive Player of the Year. Fitch anchors the Roos's defensive strategy and leads the conference in most defensive statistics. He has a league-leading 94 blocks on the season, which is currently second in all of NCAA Division III. Fitch stopped 3.6 shots per game – averaging two more than the rest of the conference – and is ranked third in the nation in this category. He leads the NAC in defensive rebounds (183) and defensive rebounds per game (7.0), collected ten steals, and contributed 199 points off 51.5% shooting from the floor.

University of Maine at Presque Isle freshman Griffin Guerrette (Presque Isle, Maine) collected three NAC Rookie of the Week honors on his way to earning the Rookie of the Year nod. Guerrette was an offensive force for the Owls, scoring in double digits in 15 games, including four conference games with twenty or more points. The guard totaled 327 points on the season (12.6 ppg), eleventh best overall and the most for a rookie, and hit 85% of his free throw attempts. The hometown player also collected 88 rebounds (3.4 per game), set up teammates with 57 assists (2.2 per game), and stole the ball fourteen times in his rookie campaign.

Dan McNeely collects his first North Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year honor in his second season at the helm for the Mariners. Last year, he led the Mariners to their first back-to-back conference victories since the 2012-13 season and the first weekend sweep since the 2007-08 season. McNeely led his team to eleven wins this year, double the wins from last season, and the most for the Mariners in thirteen years. The Mariners were 7-7 in the NAC, an improvement from 4-14 one year ago, and good enough to secure the fifth seed in the 2019 NAC Men's Basketball Tournament. His players were recognized as NAC Rookie of the Week three times and Player of the Week three times as well – including a sweep the week ending December 30. He produced two All-Conference players this year, including Senior Scholar Athlete and Player of the Year Adam Richardson.

Joining Richardson on the All-NAC First Team are Husson senior Justin Martin (Winslow, Maine), UMaine-Presque Isle sophomore Shyquinn Dix (Stamford, Conn.), and UMaine-Farmington teammates, Milani Hicks (Scarborough, Maine) and Amir Moss (Portland, Maine).

Fitch is joined by teammate, Robert Holliday, Jr. (Kansas City, Kansas) on the Second Team. Also earning second team nods are Husson sophomore Justin Thompson (East Millinocket, Maine), Maine Maritime junior Nicholas DePatsy (Waldoboro, Maine), and UMaine-Farmington junior Riley Robinson (Dixfield, Maine).
