SUNY Delhi is the 2019 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Golf Champion. Their two-day score of 600 (295, 305) was twelve strokes ahead of the runners up. The Broncos made par on 105 holes and led the field on par-3 and par-4 holes.
Husson notched 18 birdies over the weekend and finished in second place with a total score of 612 (311, 301). Thomas finished third with a 618 (309, 309). Castleton (318, 312) shot 630 and finished fourth, followed closely by SUNY Canton (322, 313) in fifth with a team score of 635. Maine Maritime totaled 647 (328, 319) over two days for a sixth-place showing.
UMaine-Farmington finished in seventh with a score of 662 (336, 326), Northern Vermont-Johnson landed in eighth with a 705, (360, 345), and UMaine-Presque Isle finished ninth (392, 407) with a score of 799.
As an NCAA Division III provisional member, SUNY Delhi is unable to accept the conference automatic qualification bid to the national championship. As such, the second-place Eagles will advance to the NCAA Championship in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in May, 2020.
Junior Eric Dugas (Husson) earned medalist honors with a 36-hole score of 145 after completing the first day five shots behind the leader and seven-over par. His day-two score of 68 (two-under par) was the best single round of the weekend.
Also from Husson, first-year Chris Kauppila had the best rookie performance of the weekend, with a two-day score of 150.
