Ford put up four points in a three game week for the Terriers. Ford dished out an assist in the Terriers 2-0 win over Southern Maine. Ford scored his first goal of the season on Sunday, when he connected a penalty kick giving the Terriers their first goal on their way to a 3-1 over Castleton. Ford also helped give the Terriers the win when he assisted Khamisi Lightbourne's eventual game winning goal.

Lightbourne scored two game winning goals this week for the Terriers. Lightbourne led the Terriers with the opening goal in their 2-0 win over Southern Maine on Wednesday and put in the Terriers second goal in their 3-1 win over Castleton.




Castleton split a pair of NAC road games this weekend, earning a 1-0 overtime win at UMF Saturday before seeing its 16-game NAC regular season unbeaten streak end at defending conference champion Thomas, 3-1 on Sunday. Castleton will host Husson and Maine Maritime this weekend.

The Colby-Sawyer men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at Maine Maritime in the team's only game of the week. Colby-Sawyer travels to Plymouth, Lyndon and Johnson State this week.

UMF dropped Green Mountain 2-1 and fell to Castleton 1-0 in overtime in NAC action over the weekend. Jake Constantine and Sean Raph each netted a goal in the win over GMC.

The Green Mountain Men's Soccer team finished a difficult 0-3 week, including 0-2 in conference play. The men dropped a 2-1 decision at home to MCLA on Tuesday October 4th. The Eagles lost 4-0 to Thomas College on Saturday October 8th, before falling 2-1 in the weekend finale at the University of Maine-Farmington. Chris Gaskin tallied an assist in the loss to MCLA and a goal in the defeat to UMF.

Johnson State fell 4-2 to visiting Lyndon State on Saturday in their only match of the week. The Badgers now sit at 4-7-1 overall and 1-4 NAC. JSCreceived goals from senior Ryan Demars and freshman Richie Perez.

Lyndon improved to 5-7 overall and 2-3 in the NAC with a 4-2 victory over Johnson State Saturday at Minaert. The contest was the Hornets' lone game of the week.

Maine Maritime Academy posted a 2-0 win over Colby-Sawyer College in North Atlantic Conference men's soccer on Saturday. The Mariners posted their second-straight shutout and sixth of the season. The game-winner was an own goal, while Abdullah Alkhayyat provided the insurance tally late in the second half. The Mariners will travel to Green Mountain and Castleton for NAC matches this weekend.

New England College men's soccer dropped a pair of one goal games, including a tough 0-1 double overtime loss to Husson Universiy on Saturday. On Wednesday the Pilgrims fell to Eastern Nazarene 2-3, leading the way for NEC was Aaron Kolb who scored both goals. In Saturday's loss to Husson NEC keeper Robert Millard recorded five saves.

Thomas had a 3-0 week knocking off Southern Maine, Green Mountain, and Castleton. The Terriers handed the Spartans of Castleton their first conference loss of the year. Sophomore Matt Ford scored a goal and dished out an assist in Sunday's win.
