Player of the Week

Josh Emard, Thomas

(Sr., F - Lebanon, Maine)

After 67 minutes of scoreless soccer in the NAC Championship game, Thomas forward Michael Sanzari curved a free kick in front of the net and Josh Emard kicked the ball past the SUNY Canton goaltender. The goal stood as the game-winner and Emard earned NAC Tournament MVP honors.

Defensive Player of the Week

Jonathan Dutka, Thomas

(Sr, GK - Durham, N.H.)

Thomas goaltender Jonathan Dutka allowed just one goal in two games to help the Terriers win the 2018 NAC Championship. The senior faced ten shots, four on target, and made three stops in the Terriers 2-1 win over Husson in the semifinal. Dutka followed that up with a three save shutout of SUNY Canton, in which the Kangaroos had five chances at the corner, to win the Championship game.

Rookie of the Week

Justin Bell, Thomas

(Fr., F - Hamilton Parish, Bermuda)

Bell scored the game-winning goal in the NAC Semifinal to send the Terriers to the NAC Championship game. Sixteen minutes in to the match, Bell took the ball to the net unassisted and scored his fifth goal of the season. The freshman kept the pressure high in both the semifinal and championship tilts, launching seven shots on goal. Bell was named to the All-Tournament team for his impressive performance throughout the championship.
