    NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer men's tennis team defeated Thomas College 9-0 in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) East Division Championship to advance to the NAC Final for the second straight season. The Chargers will play the winner of the NAC West Division on May 5 at Tri-City fitness in Latham, New York.

    Green Mountain's Connor Braden closed out his rookie campaign with a perfect 4-0 mark this past week and was named Player of the Week. Tyler Hall was also perfect, earning a 4-0 mark to earn Rookie of the Week honors.

    Colby-Sawyer's Nathan Taschereau was a perfect 4-0 at number-one singles, leading the Chargers to a 2-2 week. Taschereau was a straight-set winner in all four singles matches and was named Player of the Week. Connor Braden enjoyed a perfect week at first singles as well, going 3-0 and earning Rookie of the Week honors.

    LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Laura Laramee, the former men’s tennis coach at Johnson State College and 2012 North Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year has been hired to coach the men’s tennis program at Lyndon beginning in the 2012-13 school year.
