Track Athlete of the Week

Devon Davis, Thomas College
(Sophomore - Troy, Maine)


Davis won two individual events last weekend to lead the Terriers to a third-place finish at the 2019 NAC Men's Track & Field Championship in a three-conference event at Regis College. He won the 200 meter dash by half a second with a time of 22.76. Davis won the 400-meter dash and established a new championship meet record with a time of 50.64. He also won both events in the overall scoring at the combined meet.

   
 

Field Athlete of the Week

Glenn Butler, Jr., SUNY Delhi
(Sophomore - White Plains, New York)

Butler won three individual events as the Broncos claimed their first NAC Men's Track & Field Championship last weekend in a three-conference event at Regis College. He won the high jump (2.06 meters) and long jump (6.87 meters), setting new championship meet records in both events. Butler also won the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.44. His marks in the high jump and long jump took first place in the overall scoring at the combined three-conference meet, which the Broncos won overall.

   
 

Rookie of the Week

Humphrey Banful, SUNY Delhi
(Freshman - Brooklyn, New York)

Banful won two individual events and a relay as the Broncos claimed their first NAC Men's Track & Field Championship last weekend in a three-conference event at Regis College. He won the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:00.36, and won the 110-meter hurdles in a meet record time of 15.71, lowering the mark by .41 seconds. Banful also ran the second-leg of the championship 4x400-meter relay team that smashed the previous meet record by 4.66 seconds, setting a new mark at 3:28.44. His times in the 110-meter hurdles and the relay also took first-place in the overall scoring at the combined event, which the Broncos won overall.
