Broncos Win 2019 NAC Men's Cross Country Championship


 

SUNY Delhi met the pre-championship coaches poll prediction and cruised to the 2019 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Cross Country Championship victory with a team score of 25, led by individual champion Aiden Berlinski. Berlinksi topped the field of 87 runners with a winning time of 28:51.4 over the 8K course, followed by Broncos teammate Abshir Yerow (29:09.3). John Hassett of Maine Maritime came in closely behind Yerow with a time of 29:10.9, and led the Mariners to a second-place finish with 69 points.

Thomas College finished third with a score of 100, Husson finished fourth with 108 points, and UMaine-Farmington tallied 141 points for fifth place.

SUNY Canton earned 145 poions and sixth place, and UMaine-Presque Isle earned 160 points for a seventh-place finish. Northern Vermont-Lyndon (193) and Northern Vermont-Johnson (255) completed the field in eighth and ninth place, respectively.
