Women's Tennis All-Conference Awards 2019

Husson sophomore Ashley Matlock headlines the 2019 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Tennis All-Conference honors as the Player of the Year. Her teammate Jocelyn Bell is the Senior Scholar Athlete, and Eagles head coach Josh Warren is the Coach of the Year. First-year students Summer Lamprey of Lesley and McKenna Clark of MCLA are the Co-Rookies of the Year.

In addition to the major conference awards, 18 student athletes were named to the All-Conference Singles and Doubles First and Second Teams, and seven players were selected to the Sportsmanship Team. The NAC Women's Tennis Sportsmanship Team is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees have positively affected the women's tennis culture and match environment by clearly demonstrating sportsmanship and integrity beyond the tennis playing rules and etiquette.

The NAC women's tennis championship tournament is Sunday, October 6 at the Woburn Racquet Club in Woburn, Massachusetts. The first semifinal between #2 Lesley and #3 MCLA begins at 9:00 a.m., and the second semifinal between #1 Husson and #4 NVU-Lyndon is scheduled for a noon start. The semifinal match winners will square off for the championship at 3:30 p.m. Follow all the championship action here.
