Rayelle Brewer, Maine Maritime Academy

Maine Maritime’s Rayelle Brewer set a pair of school records for Maine Maritime women’s swimming at last weekend Maine State Championship meet. She touched the wall in 2:00.20 in the 200 Freestyle, setting a new top time in that event in the North Atlantic Conference, and placing 19th in the event at the meet. In the 50 Freestyle, Brewer placed 21st in the event and posted the top time this season in the NAC with a mark of 25.37.
 

Diver of the Week

Riley Mahoney of the Husson University diving team finished 10th overall in the one-meter dive competition at the Maine State Championship meet with a score of 173.30.
 

Rookie of the Week

Kylie Cantlon, Maine Maritime Academy
First Year | Burke, Virginia
Maine Maritime’s Kylie Cantlon recorded seven personal best times last weekend at the Maine State Championship meet, including four performances that were among the top-five in the NAC this season. Cantlon posted a best-in-the-NAC time of 20:22.69 in the 1650 Freestyle, and recorded a mark of 5:27.32 in the 400 Individual Medley that is the second-best time in the NAC this season. Cantlon’s times in the 200 IM (2:33.16) and 500 Freestyle (5:56.28) also rank fifth among the NAC’s top times in those events.
